About the Llynfi Valley Charity Classic Car Show
to be held Sunday 16th June, 2019.
Classic Car Show Rebranded : We have rebranded this year’s show from what was the popular South Wales Charity Classic Car Show to Llynfi Valley Charity Classic Car Show. We are in the same location, Maesteg Celtic Athletic & Social Club, and we are still raising funds for Stroke Association Wales: a registered charity for supporting stroke victims rebuild their lives after a stroke - we raised over £300 in 2018.
Even though the name has changed, we aim to have the same amount of fun at this year’s event. The local show is usually fairly well attended and in previous years has attracted some unusual vehicles from tractors, military vehicles, and hot rods to a curious looking three-wheeler motorcycle.
Whats going on at the show?
- Classic Cars
- Indoor stalls
- All day bar
- Food, Coffe and Cold Drinks
We welcome any Autojumblers who would like to have a stall here.
Dogs are welcome on the showground but are not allowed inside the club. The show is on the main road so dogs should be kept on their leads at all times. There is a park with a large field behind the club where owners would be welcome to take their dogs for a bit of exercise.
The showground is all flat, and the club has a disabled toilet with easy access. Our team of knowledgable volunteers is on hand to assist anyone who requires it.
Llynfi Valley Charity Classic Car Show Times
The show runs from 10.00am to 4.00pm, and evening entertainment starts about 5.30pm for 6.00pm. If you have a Classic Car, please bring it along - aim to be here between 9.00am and 10.00am - we will be pleased to welcome you at the event.
Entry to the show is free, but we will be collecting donations for entry to the entertainment, with a suggested donation of £1 or more. This is for a very worthy cause, and we thank you for your support.
